At SELION, we want every purchase to be a safe, simple, and stress-free experience. That is why we offer a transparent, flexible, and customer-oriented return policy, so you can shop with confidence every time.

1. Legal Right of Withdrawal (14 calendar days)
Under Government Emergency Ordinance (O.U.G.) 34/2014 on consumer rights in distance contracts, consumers have the right to withdraw from the contract, without stating reasons, within 14 calendar days from the date of receiving the products.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer must send an unequivocal declaration by any of the following methods:
• email to: support@selion.net
• the model withdrawal form in Section 13
Regarding the condition of the product returned under the legal right of withdrawal:
• the consumer has the right to open and inspect the product to the same extent as they would in a physical store.
• if the product has been handled more than necessary to verify its nature, characteristics, and functioning, SELION may deduct from the refunded amount a value proportional to the reduction in value identified, in accordance with art. 14 of O.U.G. 34/2014.
Products must be shipped to SELION within 14 calendar days of sending the withdrawal notification.

2. Refunds for Legal Withdrawal
When the legal right of withdrawal is exercised within the statutory period:
• we refund all amounts paid by the customer, including the standard cost of initial delivery to the customer.
• the cost of return shipping to SELION is borne by the customer, unless the product is defective, damaged, or incorrectly delivered.
• the refund is processed within 14 calendar days of receiving the returned products or proof of their dispatch.
• the refund is made using the same payment method used when placing the order.

3. Return Costs
• When exercising the legal right of withdrawal or returning due to a change of mind, the customer bears the cost of return shipping to SELION.
• For defective, transit-damaged, or incorrectly delivered products, all return costs are borne by SELION.

4. Legal Guarantee of Conformity (24 months — O.U.G. 140/2021)
Under Government Emergency Ordinance 140/2021 on certain aspects of consumer goods sales contracts, all products sold by SELION carry a legal guarantee of conformity of 24 months from the date of delivery.
This guarantee is independent of and additional to the 30-day commercial return policy described in Section 5.
If a product shows a lack of conformity during the guarantee period, the consumer is entitled to:
• repair of the product, free of charge, within no more than 15 calendar days;
• replacement of the product, if repair is not possible or was not carried out within the deadline;
• a price reduction or rescission of the contract (full refund), if repair and replacement are not possible or have not been carried out.
To benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity, the customer must contact SELION at: support@selion.net, describing the defect and attaching relevant photos or videos.
The legal guarantee of conformity does not cover damage caused by improper use, normal wear and tear, or unauthorized intervention on the product.

5. Extended Commercial Policy (30 calendar days)
In addition to the 14-day legal right of withdrawal and the 24-month legal guarantee of conformity, SELION voluntarily offers an extended return period of 30 calendar days from the date of product delivery, for change of mind.
• the product must be unused.
• the product must be returned in its original condition.
• original accessories and documents must be complete.
• the absence of original packaging does not constitute a reason for refusing the return, but may affect the refunded amount if the product's value has diminished.
• Return requests must be sent within 30 calendar days of delivery.
• Return shipping costs are borne by the customer.
• The initial delivery cost is non-refundable (except for the 14-day legal withdrawal).
• Refunds are processed within 14 calendar days after verification of the returned product.
• Refunds are made via the original payment method.
• We do not charge restocking fees.

6. Return Situations and Deadlines
A. Change of Mind (within 30 calendar days of delivery)
• Return requests must be sent within 30 calendar days of delivery.
• Return shipping costs are borne by the customer.
• The initial delivery cost is non-refundable (except for the 14-day legal withdrawal).
• Refunds are processed within 14 calendar days after verification of the returned product.
• Refunds are made via the original payment method.

B. Wrong Product Delivered
• The customer is encouraged to report the issue within 30 calendar days of receiving the parcel.
• A "wrong product" refers to a different model, type, or color than the one ordered.
• Minor differences caused by lighting, photography, or normal production variations are not considered a wrong product.
• Return costs are borne entirely by SELION.
• After receipt and inspection of the returned product, either a full refund or a replacement will be issued.
• Refunds are processed within 14 calendar days after verification.
• Refunds are made via the original payment method.

C. Product Damaged in Transit
• Please contact us as soon as possible after receiving the parcel, preferably within 7 calendar days, to facilitate investigation with the carrier. This operational recommendation does not limit the consumer's legal rights.
• Clear photos or videos of the product and packaging may be requested.
• Return costs are borne entirely by SELION.
• After receipt and inspection of the returned product, either a replacement or a full refund will be issued.
• Refunds are processed within 14 calendar days after completing the verification.
• Refunds are made via the original payment method.

D. Defective Product (within the 24-month legal guarantee period)
• The customer must send clear photos or videos showing the defect.
• The legal guarantee of conformity covers defects occurring within 24 months of delivery, in accordance with O.U.G. 140/2021.
• Return costs are borne entirely by SELION.
• SELION will proceed to repair or replace the product within 15 calendar days of confirming the defect. If repair or replacement is not possible, a full refund will be issued.
• Refunds are processed within 14 calendar days and are made via the original payment method.

E. Undelivered Parcel
• Claims may be filed after 7–10 calendar days from the expiry of the estimated delivery period, in accordance with the Delivery Policy.
• If the parcel is confirmed as lost by the carrier, the customer may opt for:
  - Reshipment of the order
  - Full refund
• Refunds are processed within 14 calendar days of case resolution.
• Refunds are made via the original payment method.

7. Order Cancellations
The consumer may request the cancellation of the order by email at support@selion.net before it has been shipped. In the case of cancelling an unshipped order, SELION will refund the full amount paid, using the same payment method used for the purchase. If the order has already been shipped, this request falls under the legal right of withdrawal.

8. How to Request a Return
To initiate a return, the customer must send an email to: support@selion.net containing:
• order number
• reason for return
• relevant photos or videos (if applicable)
• for the 14-day legal withdrawal: the completed form from Section 13

Return Process:
1. Submit request to: support@selion.net
2. Confirmation of the request within 24–48 business hours.
3. Dispatch the product to SELION.
4. Return inspection within 2–5 business days of receipt.
5. Refund processed within 14 calendar days.
The amount may appear in your account within 3–10 business days, depending on the issuing bank.

10. Non-Returnable Products
Under applicable legislation (art. 16 of O.U.G. 34/2014), the following product categories cannot be returned under the right of withdrawal:
• personalized or made-to-order products.
• sealed products that have been unsealed after delivery and cannot be returned for reasons of health protection or hygiene.
• gift cards.
• products that, after delivery, are inseparably mixed with other elements.
Note: The 24-month legal guarantee of conformity (Section 4) also applies to these products in the event of manufacturing defects or non-conformity, regardless of the category above.

11. Product Exchanges
SELION does not currently offer direct product exchanges.
The customer may return the product in accordance with this policy and place a new order separately.

SELION reserves the right to deduct from the refunded amount a value proportional to the reduction in value of the product caused by handling beyond what is necessary to verify its nature, characteristics, and functioning, to the extent permitted by applicable law. Returns may not be refused solely on the grounds of missing original packaging.
This policy does not limit or affect the legal rights of consumers provided by applicable legislation, including the 24-month legal guarantee of conformity under O.U.G. 140/2021 and the right of withdrawal under O.U.G. 34/2014.
